J.D. Rush and
Jeffrey Fleming combined for 42 points on Tuesday, but it wasn't enough as Joliet Junior College men's basketball fell in overtime on the road at Madison College, 89-82.
Rush finished with a team-high 22 points while Fleming scored 20 while hauling in 18 rebounds.Â
The Wolves (17-6) battled in a close match up as the game was tied six times and the lead swapped eight times, with an 11-point advantage at one point for the Wolves. They finished shooting 44.6% on the night with a 5-of-13 mark from the three. The Wolves went 19-of-29 at the foul line.
Sophomores Miles Gillespire and
Devon Richardson each scored 11 points for the Wolves.Â
