It was a close game but the Wolves could never break through Tuesday as the Joliet Junior College women's basketball team fell on the road at Madison College, 60-52.
Sophomore
Kiyah Robertson scored 16 points and hauled in eight rebounds to lead the Wolves (9-11). Freshman
Demi Page added another 14 points.
"This has always been a tough place to play but we let one slip away," said Wolves coach
Shaun Sanderson. "We missed free throws and turned the ball over at the wrong time. Madison did a great job of scoring on our turnovers."
The Wolves went 8-of-15 from the free throw line and shot 29.9% on the night, going 4-of-22 from the three.
Next up, the Wolves host Rock Valley on Thursday at 5 p.m.
"We can't hang out heads, we have to get ready for the next one," said Sanderson.
