Romello Ali, Joliet Junior College men's basketball finished their home schedule in dominant fashion Saturday with a win over South Suburban College, 90-71.
Richardson recorded a double-double with 31 points and 15 rebounds while Ali finished with 23 points, six assists and six rebounds. Ali shot 80% from the field, going 8-of-10 against the 26th-ranked team in NJCAA Division II.
"It was nice to come out with a victory, especially on Sophomore Day," said Wolves coach Danny Turner. "Our sophomores are very special."
The Wolves have just two games left in the regular season as they travel to Kankakee Community College for a 7 p.m. tip on Tuesday before wrapping things up Thursday at Harper College.
