Box Score 2 It just wasn't the Wolves' day as Joliet Junior College softball was swept Monday at home against Kankakee.
The Wolves fell in the first game, 20-12.
Arianna Jentel (3-6) took the loss on the mound after giving up six hits and five earned runs through 2.1 innings of work. She struck out one.
Kerigan Copes and
Skylar Welcome powered the Wolves offense in the game. Copes finished 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI's. Welcome went 4-for-4 at the plate with a double and a pair of RBI's.
Game Two saw the Wolves get shutout, 8-0.
Alaina Moreno (2-1) is credited with the loss after three innings of work in which she allowed three hits and two earned runs. Welcome was 1-for-2 at the plate.
Both games ended in five innings. The Wolves are now 10-14 on the season and will return to action Wednesday at Triton College.
