Box Score 2 It was a tough day at the office for the Wolves as Joliet Junior College softball fell to Bryant & Stratton College in doubleheader action Thursday.
The Wolves (13-17) lost the first game, 9-2.
Arianna Jentel (4-8) pitched three innings in which she allowed three hits and five earned runs.
Kerigan Copes went 1-for-3 with a home rune and an RBI.
Lea Herkel was also 1-for-3 with an RBI.
Game Two saw more offense from both teams with the Wolves falling, 20-14. Jentel recorded another loss after 2.1 innings pitched with four hits and five earned runs allowed.
Skylar Welcome powered the offense as she finished 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBI's. Herkel was a perfect 2-for-2 with a triple and two RBI's. Copes finished the second game 3-for-4 with a double and a RBI.
Natalie Reyes stepped up to the plate six times and recorded a pair of hits and one RBI.
The Wolves will be playing in the Conference Clash in Ottawa, Ill. this weekend. Saturday they will play Oakton College at 9 a.m. and Morton College at 11 a.m. On Sunday they are scheduled to play Elgin College at 9 a.m. and McHenry College at 11 a.m.
