Box Score 2 There were plenty of runs scored on both sides during Tuesday's doubleheader at Joliet Junior College, but it was the Wolves that came out on top in both games.
Game One saw the Wolves (13-15) outduel DuPage to win, 11-10.
Arianna Jentel (4-6) earned the win after six innings of work in which she allowed six hits and four earned runs.
Skylar Welcome recorded her third save of the season after an inning in which she allowed two hits.
Welcome also got it done at the plate for the Wolves, going 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI's.
Taylor Wells also finished 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI's.
Kerigan Copes had two RBI's while
Samantha Rios finished 2-for-3.
Game Two saw more offensive fire power as the Wolves won, 12-9.
Isabella Hanson led with a home run and four RBI's after going 2-for-4 at the plate. Rios also went 2-for-4 with a triple and a pair of RBI's. Copes went 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI.Â
Natalie Reyes recorded two hits in three tries.
Cynthia Calderon (6-6) earned the win after 4.1 innings pitched in which she allowed four hits and five runs.
The Wolves return to action Thursday when they host Bryant & Stratton College in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.
