The Joliet Junior College men's and women's golf teams hosted the Clash At The Creek on Tuesday at Nettle Creek Country Club in Morris.
"Both the men and the women had strong showings in their home tournament," said head coach
Skip Steffey.
The men's side finished in third place out of 15 teams, with freshman
Mitchell Fulayter winning with a two-under 69, winning by two shots. It is Fulayter's second collegiate tournament win.
Up next for the men is a trip Monday to Palos Heights for the Trinity Christian College (Ill.) Invite. The fall slate ends on Tuesday at Benedictine University.
On the women's side, the Wolves finished fifth of 10 teams as they wrap up their fall season.Â
