03.25.2026

Box Score

Joliet Junior College baseball nearly completed another dramatic comeback Wednesday but this time came up just short, falling to Morton College, 8-7.

The Wolves struck first in the opening inning with an aggressive play, scoring on a steal of home to take an early lead. Morton responded in the third inning, using a solo home run and a two-run double to take control and momentum of the game.

Trailing late, the Wolves showed resilience in the ninth inning. Down by six, The Wolves erupted for five runs, highlighted by a three-run double from John O'Brien, followed by RBI singles from Brenden Henderson and Jacob Miller to cut the deficit to one. Despite the late surge, the comeback fell just short.

On the mound, Gadomski started and went five innings while the Wolves bullpen helped kept the game within reach late.

The Wolves will look to bounce back in their next match up Saturday vs Madison College.
