The Wolves faced a tough challenge Sunday, falling in both games of a doubleheader against McHenry County College, 11–4 and 24–11.

In Game 1, Joliet Junior College showed early fight, jumping out to a first-inning lead when Will Withers drove in a run. The Wolves regained the lead in the third behind an RBI double from Jacob Miller and an RBI single from Brendan Henderson. John O'Brien added a solo home run in the fourth to give the Wolves a 4–3 advantage.

McHenry responded with a big fourth inning and pulled away with a five-run sixth to secure the win. Henderson led the Wolves offensively, going 3-for-4, while Miller, Henderson, Withers and O'Brien each drove in a run. Defensively, the Wolves played clean, committing no errors.

In Game 2, offense was not an issue, but the Wolves couldn't keep pace in a high-scoring 24–11 loss.

Joliet responded to an early deficit with an explosive third inning, scoring eight runs. Withers, Charlie Martin, Jose Granados, Ryan Bumpous, DeClan DeMent and O'Brien all contributed RBIs in the rally. Joshua McGuigan added a solo home run in the fourth.

Despite the offensive effort, McHenry capitalized on big innings early to take control of the game.

The Wolves will look to bounce back as they return home Tuesday to face Waubonsee Community College.
