The Wolves were swept for just the second time this season as Joliet Junior College softball fell on the road to Rock Valley College on Saturday.
JJC lost the first game, 8-2.Â
Karli McMillin (9-3) pitched five innings in which she struck out three but allowed six earned runs and seven hits.Â
Offensively,
Skylar Welcome went 1-for-3 with an RBI while
Lea Herkel also recorded a double and a run scored.
The Wolves then fell in six innings, 8-0.Â
Averi Jury (10-2) pitched five innings, allowing seven hits and two earned runs while striking out a pair.
Herkel and Welcome again powered the offense, recording a hit each in three tries.
The Wolves fall to 32-11 on the season and will be on the road against Tuesday at Milwaukee Area Technical College at 3 p.m.Â
