04.25.2026

The Wolves dropped a tough road match up Friday, falling 9–6 to Triton College.

Joliet Junior College struck first in the opening inning when John O'Brien delivered an RBI single. Triton quickly answered, erupting for five runs in the bottom of the first to take control of the game.

The Wolves responded in the third when Jose Granados launched a two-run home run, and later tied the game at five in the fifth on a sacrifice fly from Granados.

Triton regained the lead in the bottom of the fifth and added runs late to secure the win.

Offensively, the Wolves had 10 hits. Granados led the way with three RBI's, while Charlie Martin, Jacob Miller and O'Brien each collected two hits. Isaiah Rhodes added two walks as the Wolves showed patience at the plate, drawing seven total. Joliet also stayed aggressive on the bases with five stolen bases and played clean defense with no errors.

The Wolves will look to bounce back as they travel to face Sauk Valley Community College on Sunday.
