As has been the story many times over the 2026 season, Joliet Junior College softball earned a doubleheader sweep, this time over Kishwaukee Community College.
The Wolves took the first game in five innings, 10-0.Â
Karli McMillin (10-4) pitched all five innings, allowing just four hits while striking out a pair.
Taylor Wells powered the offense, going 1-for-2 with two runs scored, two RBI's and a home run.
Samantha Rios finished 1-for-3 with two RBI's and a run scored, whileÂ
Ashlyn Pacchetti went 1-for-2 with two RBI's.
The Wolves then took the second game, 8-1.Â
Averi Jury (12-2) pitched all seven innings, striking out four and allowing four hits.
Wells recorded another home run on the day, going 2-for-4 in the second game with three RBI's and two runs scored.
D'arcy Ness also went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI while reaching home twice.Â
Aniya Adkins was 1-for-3 with a home run.Â
And with that, the Wolves wrap the regular season with a 37-13 record. Next up, they host College of DuPage in the NJCAA Division III Region 4 Tournament with two games on Friday and a third on Saturday if needed. The first game begins at noon Friday.Â
