The Wolves wrapped up the regular season Sunday with a 9–5 victory over Waubonsee Community College.
Joliet Junior College (21-32) got off to a fast start, scoring two runs in the first inning behind an RBI single from
John O'Brien and a sacrifice fly from
Isaiah Rhodes. The Wolves continued to build their lead with runs in the second and third innings, taking a 4–0 advantage early.
On the mound,
Daniel Police delivered a strong performance, earning the win with five innings of work while allowing just one run.
Offensively, the Wolves totaled 12 hits, led by Rhodes, who drove in four runs. O'Brien added three hits, while
Charlie Martin and
Jacob Miller each recorded multiple hits. Martin also contributed on base with two stolen bases, as the Wolves finished with three steals and turned two double plays defensively.
The win caps off the regular season as the Wolves head into postseason play.
