Men's Soccer falls to Owens CC, 3-1

A tight first half got away from the Wolves on Friday as Joliet Junior College men's soccer fell at home to Owens Community College, 3-1.

The Wolves (3-2) battled Owens to a scoreless draw after the first half, but Timo Schram received a red card in the 54th minute that handicapped JJC. Owens scored just a few minutes after the red card, but Jaime Gutierrez scored off an assist by Ismael Gomez to even things up.

But another Owens goal not long after took away any momentum that the Wolves had.

Louis Utzinger recorded six saves in the loss.

Next, the Wolves host Harper College on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
