Men's soccer wins wild game against Bryant & Stratton

Joliet Junior College men's soccer had another wild outing on Wednesday, but this time earned a victory, 4-3, over Bryant & Stratton.

The Wolves (4-2-1) were up, 4-0, at the half before Bryant & Stratton took control in the second half. Timo Schram drew a red card in the 34th minute, which hindered the Wolves.

"With a man down and a silly mistake, they scored and got the momentum going," said Wolves coach Cris Trillo. "With 20 minutes left, the score was 4-3. And then Ismael Gomez got a knee injury, which is the worst news."

Gomez scored three goals for JJC before exiting, while Tevaris Neidecker scored one along with an assist. Jaime Gutierrez Lopez had three assists.

Trillo said Gomez could be out for a few weeks following the injury.

Next, the Wolves travel to College of DuPage at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
