Joliet Junior College women's soccer overcame a slow first half on Wednesday as the Wolves claim a 2-0 victory over host Milwaukee Area Technical College.
It was a scoreless first half, but one that Wolves (7-0-1) coach Henry Cheung called a "physical battle."
"We talked about staying patient, moving the ball quicker and being more aggressive," he said. "The team came out in the second half with a different level of energy and intensity."
Freshmen
Natalia Bedolla andÂ
Bella Yarc each scored in the second half withÂ
Lydia Wajda earning an assist.
"I'm really proud of how the team competed," said Cheung.
The Wolves will host Kankakee Community College on Saturday at 10 a.m.
