During the summer of 2020, Jarosz also served as the assistant coach of the Nerds Herd, a team in the four-team City of Champions Cup tournament played in Joliet after the COVID-19 pandemic canceled the 2020 minor league baseball season. He worked with head coach Corky Miller, a former MLB catcher who played with several teams including the Chicago White Sox during his 17-year pro career.

Jarosz joined the Wolves following stints at the University of Illinois at Chicago, the University of Minnesota and College of DuPage, returning to coaching from his days at College of DuPage. At COD, he was an assistant baseball coach working primarily with hitters and infielders.

At UIC, Jarosz was the academic advisor for women's basketball, men's baseball, women's gymnastics and men's gymnastics, while also serving as the Port Academic Center tutor coordinator. He was responsible for ensuring students’ academic eligibility, maintaining progress towards their declared degrees, and providing and referring academic and professional resources. Prior to UIC, Jarosz was the coordinator of learning services intern for the University of Minnesota Athletics Department. As a Golden Gopher, he worked primarily with the tutoring program, maintaining day-to-day operations of the learning center and managing tutor schedules. He also worked one-on-one with student-athletes, monitoring their academic progress and introducing academic skills and resources.

Jarosz is a former baseball student-athlete, competing at both College of DuPage and North Central College. He earned his bachelor's degree in Sport Management from NCC in 2015. While coaching at COD, he completed his master's degree in Leadership Development from NCC in 2017.
