Elise Manzie comes to JJC with a diverse background in coaching. 

Growing up in Naperville, Manzie attended Naperville Central High School and played varsity soccer and lacrosse at North Central College, starting as a goalkeeper for both teams. While serving as captain of the women’s soccer team, she was named to the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) All-Conference Team as a goalkeeper, the CCIW Academic All-Conference Team, and was a two-time Team MVP and Defensive MVP. She still holds the women’s soccer career shutout record at North Central. 

After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education, she spent two years as a graduate assistant coach for both the women's soccer and lacrosse programs while completing her graduate work and earning a Master’s Degree in Leadership Development with an emphasis in Sports Leadership at North Central. 

She has also served as Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Benedictine University, Head Women's Soccer Coach at Daley College on Chicago's south side, Senior Goalkeeper Trainer at the Naperville Soccer Association, and Head Coach and Goalkeeper Trainer at Discovery Soccer Academy in Bolingbrook. 

Elise and her husband, Tony, reside with their two rescue dogs in Bolingbrook.
