Connor Ceglarz enters his second year of coaching collegiate baseball and his first here for the Wolves. Coach Ceglarz will serve as the pitching coach at Joliet Junior College.
Prior to joining Joliet, Ceglarz served as the Pitching Coach at Trinity Christian College, where he worked closely with the pitching staff on mechanical development, game preparation, bullpen planning, and in-game strategy. He also serves as the Head Coach of the Crestwood Crush Collegiate Summer League team and is the Director of Player Development for the Tinley Park Bulldogs, helping oversee the organization’s player development initiatives.
Before coaching at the collegiate level, Ceglarz spent four seasons at Tinley Park High School, serving as the Varsity Pitching Coach, Head Junior Varsity Coach, and Freshman Head Coach. He has also coached with Force Elite Baseball, Palos Baseball Organization, and Elite Baseball Training. He continues to work with athletes through private instruction and player development.
Outside of baseball, Ceglarz is a Paraprofessional at Delta Academy in District 228, where he works with students in a special education setting. He is passionate about mentoring young people both on and off the field and is pursuing a career in education alongside his coaching career.
As a player, Ceglarz was a four-year varsity starter at Tinley Park High School. He continued his playing career at South Suburban College, where he helped lead the Bulldogs to a 43-14 record as a freshman while posting a 2.70 ERA and setting the program’s all-time saves record with 11 saves. He later played at Robert Morris University before finishing his collegiate career at Roosevelt University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Management.
Ceglarz is committed to developing complete student-athletes by emphasizing character, discipline, accountability, and a competitive mindset while creating an environment where players can reach their full potential on and off the field.
