MADISON, WI. - Joliet Junior College played tight with Madison in all three sets but couldn't salvage a win in a 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-23) defeat on Thursday evening.
JJC rallied down big in the third set to take the lead 23-22 but the WolfPack scored the next three points to take the set and the match.
Cuay Whitener had a solid match with a team-leading 10 kills. Isabella Costentino had a double-double with 20 assists and 10 digs.
Emma Sweeney led JJC with 13 digs and three aces.
Shea Kieldyk had four solo blocks and two block assists.
