The JJC men's basketball team started 2020 with an N4C conference win, beating Madison College 83-71 at home on Jan. 2.
Sophomore guard
Jayden Gasby (Curie) led the Wolves with 23 points. Sophomore guard
Sion Lightfoot (St. Anne) added 19 points including 5 three-pointers and 8 rebounds. Freshman guard
Adam Taylor (Providence Catholic) contributed 18 points, and freshman forward
De'Saunte Tyus (Evergreen Park) controlled the boards with 11 rebounds.
The 8-9 Wolves travel to Wilbur Wright College this Saturday, Jan. 4. Tip-off against the 4-11 Rams is scheduled for 3 p.m.Â
