Former Joliet Junior College Head Football Coach Bob MacDougall passed away on Oct. 3 at the age of 77. 

MacDougall coached at Joliet from 2000 to 2005, leading the Wolves to a 48-16 record during his six seasons. The 2002 team won the NJCAA Football National Championship against Georgia Military College in the Sea Island Company Golden Isles Bowl Classic, setting a school best record of 11-0. In 2001, JJC finished with a 10-1 record and was named the NJCAA Football Non-Scholarship National Champion.
 
Prior to his time at Joliet, MacDougall was the head football coach at College of DuPage, where he amassed a 167-54 record over 21 seasons. He led the Chaparrals to a 36-game unbeaten streak (1993-95) that remains an NJCAA record, and was elected to the NJCAA Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1997.

Visitation will take place on Monday, October 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Friedrich-Jones Funeral Home, 44 S. Mill St. in Naperville. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday, October 12, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Raphael Church in Naperville. Interment with full military honors will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
