In an academic year that saw continued challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, 18 Joliet Junior College student-athletes have been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association's 2020-21 All-Academic Team, earning a GPA of 3.60 or higher. The Wolves on the list include:
First Team (4.0 GPA)

Charles Kalafut – Men's Soccer
Marshall McDonnell - Baseball
Erica Nurczyk – Women's Cross Country
Nadia Vargas – Women's Soccer
Second Team (3.80-3.99 GPA)
Maite Bernal – Women's Soccer
Nicole Guzman – Women's Soccer
Kendal Kirk – Softball
Andres Russi – Wrestling
Yesenia Suarez – Women's Cross Country
Adam Taylor – Men's Basketball
Aidan Williams – Baseball
Ryan Zawacki – Men's Cross Country
Third Team (3.60-3.79)
Paul Keane – Wrestling
Aubrey Sinchak – Volleyball
Brendan Sturm – Baseball
Luke Talbot – Men's Cross Country
In addition, the Wolves volleyball and baseball teams made the NJCAA's list of 2020-21 Academic Teams of the Year, earning an overall team GPA of 3.0 or better. The JJC volleyball team had an overall team GPA of 3.30, and the baseball team had an overall team GPA of 3.14.

Gregg Braun. "For them to have the determination to stay committed to their academics is a great accomplishment."
