The Wolves started hot but couldn't stay the course as the Joliet Junior College men's basketball team fell to Ancilla College in the Waubonsee Classic on Friday, 90-80.
Miles Gillespie powered the Wolves with 19 points, 11 rebounds, nine assists and three steals.
Jeffrey Fleming also recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds.
Romello Ali finished with 18 points.
"We started on top but Ancilla made huge shot after shot every time we made a run," said Wolves coach Danny Turner. "They were the aggressors tonight."
The Wolves (4-3) will face Sandburg College at noon on Saturday to finish the Waubonsee Classic.
