Lovely Tua-Link scored 16 points Tuesday as the Joliet Junior College women's basketball team fell on the road at Moraine Valley, 71-62.
"We appeared to be a little timid tonight," Wolves coach
Shaun Sanderson said. "Although we did some good things, we made some silly mistakes. We weren't aggressive when we needed to be and lacked court awareness.
"At the same time, we fought to tie the game and put it into overtime after being down double digits. We will get back in the gym and get better."
The Wolves (8-7) forced overtime as regulation ended in a 55-55 deadlock.
Kiyah Robertson scored 13 points,
Demi Page scored 12 and
Joyce Tua-Link finished with 9.Â
The Wolves get a week off before they return to action when they host Elmhurst University (JV) on Tuesday, January 14 at 5 p.m.
