The trip to Coon Rapids, Minn. started on the right foot for Joliet Junior College men's basketball as the Wolves rolled past Rochester Community and Technical College, 96-63, on Friday.
JJC shot 50 percent from the field, going 36-of-72 with 42.9 percent from the three. The Wolves (5-7) were 88.2 percent (15-of-17) from the foul line.
The Wolves dominated the paint with 36 points to Rochester's 24, but were outscored off the bench, 27-26. JJC capitalized on turnovers with 28 points scored.
Sophomore guard
Jeffrey Fleming recorded a double-double in the victory, leading the Wolves with 17 points, 12 rebounds, four steals and a pair of assists.

Levi Goad led scoring with 18 points along with four rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block. Freshman
Ricky Hill tallied 17 points also while adding three assists, three steals, two rebounds and a block. Sophomore center
Victor Yatou scored 10 points.
"We played well together tonight through sharing the ball, shooting and rebounding," said Wolves coach Danny Turner. "I'm very proud of reserve
Dominick Hale's improvement. He was solid."
Hale, a freshman guard, played 18 minutes in which he scored 7 points and added five rebounds, five assists and three steals.Â
The Wolves face Anoka-Ramsey at 2 p.m. Saturday in their final game before the Holiday break.Â
