The Wolves couldn't shake off the rust as Joliet Junior College women's basketball fell to Moraine Valley, 88-70, on Thursday.
It was the Wolves (3-4) fourth-straight loss.
"Credit to Moraine on the way they shot and moved the ball," said Wolves coach
Shaun Sanderson. "There are a veteran team and it showed."
Des McGruder led the way for JJC with 15 points, 14 rebounds, three steals and a pair of assists.
Sarai Carter also recorded a double-double with 11 points, 10 points, three steals and two assists.
N'aVayuh Junior finished with 12 points, five rebounds, two steals and two assists.
"We still have to rebound with anticipation of misses," Sanderson said. "Also, our timing and shot selection has to improve.
"We will get better."
