The Wolves struggled to find momentum Thursday, falling 10–0 to Harper College at Wayne L. King Field.
Harper set the tone early, scoring two runs in the first inning and continuing to build its lead with strong offensive production over the next two innings. A combination of timely hitting and aggressive base running allowed Harper to pull away early.
Joliet Junior College (16-22) was unable to generate consistency on offense, with John O'Brien leading the way at the plate, going 2-for-2. On the mound, Brandon Alzamora took the loss, while Ryan Hindahl provided relief, pitching three innings.
Harper totaled 11 hits while also turning multiple double plays defensively to limit the Wolves' chances.
The Wolves will look to bounce back as they travel to face Bryant & Stratton College on Saturday.
