Joliet Junior College was swept Saturday on the road at Illinois Valley Community College.
The Wolves fell in the first game, 4-2.Â
Karli McMillin (9-4) pitched six innings, striking out four while allowing eight hits and two earned runs. She went 1-for-3 at the plate for an RBI and double.
Lea Herkel went 3-for-4 with a double while
D'arcy Ness went 2-for-4.
Lauren Pell hit an RBI single.
The Wolves then fell in the second game, 7-3. Kassie Martinez (2-2) pitched four innings in which she allowed eight hits and seven earned runs.
Herkel went 2-for-4 while
Skylar Welcome went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI's.
JJC falls to 35-13 on the season and will host Prairie State on Monday at 3 p.m.
