Joliet Junior College softball scored 28 total runs Monday as the Wolves swept Harper College in Palatine, Ill.
Both games ended after five innings, with the Wolves taking the first, 14-3.Â
Keigan Sprovieri (3-3) allowed five hits and three earned runs through four innings of work, striking out two.
Taylor Wells went 3-for-4 at the plate, good for a double, triple and three RBI's.
Skylar Welcome also drove in three runs, going 2-for-4 with a home run and a double.
Aniya Adkins was a perfect 2-for-2 with a double, RBI and three stolen bases.
The Wolves took the second game, 14-1. Dani Chorak (3-1) pitched four innings, allowing three hits and a run with a strikeout.Â
Samantha Rios and
Ashlyn Pacchetti each went 3-for-3 at the plate, with Rios batting in four runs.
Lea Herkel went 1-for-3 with a triple, three RBI's and two runs scored.Â
Avery Scheuer finished 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI's.
The Wolves improve to 24-7 on the season and play next on Wednesday at College of DuPage, beginning at 2 p.m.
