Joliet Junior College baseball picked up a strong 12–2 win over Olive Harvey College on Tuesday, powered by a huge day at the plate from Isaiah Rhodes.
Rhodes had four hits in four at-bats, including two doubles and two singles, helping lead the Wolves' 16-hit performance. Olive Harvey scored twice in the opening inning, but the Wolves answered in the second to tie the game on an error and an RBI single from Rhodes.
JJC took the lead for good in the third on a sacrifice fly by Jacob Miller and continued to build momentum from there. The Wolves broke the game open in the seventh, scoring five runs. Rhodes drove in a run with a double, Charlie Martin added a two-run double and Withers followed with a two-run single.
On the mound, Holden Burokas earned the win after throwing six innings, allowing four hits and two unearned runs while striking out eight. Tyler Gadomski added a scoreless inning in relief.
With the win, the Wolves move to 13-18 on the season and look to extend their three-game win streak on Thursday vs. South Suburban College.
