DEWITT, New York — The Wolves just couldn't get going Wednesday as Joliet Junior College softball fell to Patrick & Henry, 8-0, in the NJCAA Division III World Series.
Karli McMillin (12-5) pitched four innings for the Wolves (41-14) in which she allowed three earned runs and six hits while striking out six. At the plate,

Averi Jury each went 1-for-2.
With the loss, the Wolves now move into the elimination bracket. They will play at noon CST on Thursday against Suffolk County, with the winning playing again at 4 p.m. CST.
